In November 2017, I opened Stablo Znanja — the first technology center for students inside the Zagreb Student Centre. The idea was simple: give young people free access to high-end computers, fast internet, and a creative space where they can build projects, learn new skills, and collaborate.
The center was designed and built by students, for students. It became a hub for technology meetups, hackathons, startup workshops, and knowledge-sharing events. The space was equipped with powerful workstations and opened every weekday, completely free of charge.
The opening ceremony was attended by government officials including the State Secretary of the Central State Office for Digital Society Development, university leaders, sponsors, and media. It was recognized as a pioneering initiative in strengthening Croatia's entrepreneurial ecosystem among young people.
