The Person Behind This Page

I am coming to China to build real connections for the years to come.

Entrepreneur and businessman from Croatia, representing multiple sectors across the EU and Balkans — construction, technology, and the live events industry.

I carry real buying power and concrete business mandates. I am not here to look around. I am here to meet the right people.

My background is unusual. I was classically educated — Latin, Greek, the humanities — before studying business and economics. And despite being an economist by training, I have spent years deep in software development, AI, and new technologies. AI and automation is my focus at the moment. I believe that people who think across disciplines find the opportunities that specialists miss.

7 Languages

English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Croatian — and learning Chinese. I understand how different cultures think, negotiate, and build trust.

AI & Automation Focus

Years in software development and AI. Currently focused on automation, smart factories, and how China can teach Europe to build smarter production lines.

Classical + Business

Classical education in Latin & Greek, then business economics. Cross-disciplinary thinking is my competitive edge.

Personal Interests in China

Art & Craftsmanship

Jade statues, silk art, traditional Chinese art forms. I collect carpets as a hobby and have a personal interest in art.

Cultural Exchange

Comfortable in many rooms. I speak seven languages and understand how different cultures negotiate and build trust.

Stablo Znanja — Education & Startup Hub

I founded Stablo Znanja ("Tree of Knowledge") — Croatia's first student-run technology center inside the Zagreb Student Centre. A free co-working and learning space equipped with high-end computers, it gives students and young entrepreneurs the tools to build projects, exchange ideas, and strengthen Croatia's startup ecosystem.

AI, Economy & The Long Equation of Value

Every major innovation starts as a bubble — railroads, electricity, the internet, crypto. Each inflated expectations, burst, and then left behind the infrastructure that powered the next century.

AI will likely follow the same path — inflated now, indispensable later. The difference is that this time, the infrastructure isn't physical — it's intelligence itself.

Like every major invention before it, AI is part of the same long equation: New energy + new technology = new value.

🔥 The steam engine multiplied human power.

Electricity and oil scaled production.

💻 The microchip connected the world.

🧠 AI is now redefining what "work" itself means.

In 1850, global GDP was under $1 trillion.

By 1950 — the oil and industrial era — it reached $10 trillion.

By 2000 — the digital age — $34 trillion.

Today, it exceeds $124 trillion, powered by data, networks, and computation instead of coal and steel.

But growth no longer comes free. Each wave leaves behind higher energy demand, deeper debt, and growing ecological cost. We're producing more value — yet spending more resources to sustain it.

We've learned how to turn energy into growth. Now we must learn how to turn intelligence into meaning.

Global Wealth 2025
LinkedIn Post

🌍 Each of us "owns" about $65,000 worth of global wealth on paper

In 2025, global wealth reached an estimated $540 trillion — distributed across the assets that define modern civilization:

🏠Real Estate — $390T (~$47K/person)
📈Public Equities — $127T (~$15K/person)
⚙️Infrastructure — $100T (~$12K/person)
💵Money Supply (M2) — $140T (~$17K/person)
🥇Gold — $30T (~$3.6K/person)
🪙Crypto — $4T (~$480/person)
💣Gov. Debt — $111T (~$13.3K/person)

Despite record totals, real prosperity feels harder to reach, as money and assets inflate faster than productivity or equality.

But the real value lies in everything that is not being shown in this graph. So be grateful with what you have and be happy because you can give and help others.
